It was an extremely beautiful occasion between Rachel and Chung, even though it was a little chilly and wet. A quiet morning getting ready, Rachel at Hilton and Chung at Crown Promenade, before heading into the city to be surrounded by close friends witnessing their signing of the registry of marriage. Had a little bit of time before the lunch reception where we had the opportunity to keep ourselves out of the drizzly weather and capture beautiful couple shots for them at Society. Then ending a wonderful afternoon at The Point Albert Park with lunch whilst Rachel & Chung continued to celebrate.

The 2nd chapter of our mock wedding shoot at Mont Salvat with our models Renee and Arlo. Was a pretty challenging start with the wind and rain starting to come down but the soft light was amazing to shoot in. Look at the colors pop
Can’t wait till we get a booking for a real wedding at Mont Salvat. The day went spiffingly well without a hitch and both our models were ‘da bomb’.

We had a little bit of spare time so we organised a faux wedding shoot at Mont Salvat with our gorgeous models, to come up with some new marketing material for Candy Box Photography. The short 2 hour shoot at Mont Salvat consisted of 4 models, 3 photographers, 3 assistants., and a video grapher. The whirlwind of a day saw gorgeous lighting, a tumble here and there and lots of smiles and laughter. Thanks again to everyone involved
till next time!. Special thanks to our two gorgeous models featured here, the Hong Kong Star looking Will and the I got the brains to match my beauty Elissa.

This was a massive 14 hour wedding, which we couldn’t help but enjoy every moment of! Christine looked gorgeous in her beautiful wedding dress, and as you can see by the size of the bridal party they are surrounded by loving friends and family. The day started at Daniel’s with shots of him getting ready for the big day. Then onwards to Christines for the boys to bribe their way into the brides house, absolutely hilarious. Love you guys!

Yay for Sharmony & Arnat. They are such a fun couple to work with to take photos of. If only we had slightly better weather and more time. But that can wait till your wedding day
. They were natural models. We can’t wait for your actual wedding day itself! It’ll be such a colorful affair.

We seem to be getting alot of registry of marriage coverage photography now a days, which is just great. Getting to know the area and finding new places to take our couples to get something different is always what makes our job fun and challenging. Especially when you have an easy going couple with a fun bridal party. With Caroline and Brent we had that and more we even took a stroll from the registry of marriage place near parliament down to Flinders Street Station. Below are a few preview pics.

Presenting one of our most funnest couples yet, Mica and Ed! We had a blast doing this pre-wedding shoot with them and their entourage. The day progressed from Lincoln Square to Melbourne University and the Fitzroy Townhall. A little pre planning ahead on the couples part allowed us to capture some great shots of Mica doing her track and field thing and Ed showing his basketball skills for the camera.

I know it’s a bit strange starting a set with tears but this was by far our favorite shot of the evening. A picture of Shauntel’s grandmother crying tears of happiness for her engagement to Jon. Simply stunning. The gig was for event coverage of their engagement party in their house, which was decked out with a fantastic outdoor cabana/tent where the speechs and cake took place.
